Contact the desk
There is one editorial mailbox, editor@accrastationgh.com, and it reaches the people who write and correct these pages.
The one mailbox
Write to editor@accrastationgh.com for anything about the content of this site, including a correction, a question about how a figure was reached or a broker you think we have described wrongly.
We do not promise a reply within a set number of hours or days. The mailbox is read by the editorial desk, and a message that needs checking against a broker's documents will take longer than one that does not.
How a correction request is handled from receipt to edit
A correction request is logged, checked against the source facts behind the page, and then either the page is amended or you are told why the figure stands. The check is against the facts the page was built from, not against another website, because two sites quoting different numbers does not establish which is right. If the page says a 0.10-lot gold position needs about $85.50 margin at the applicable cap and you believe that is wrong, show the calculation you used. A correction backed by a calculation is acted on; a correction backed only by disagreement is not.
Where a figure is confirmed wrong, the page is changed and the change is made at the point of error rather than appended as a note at the bottom. Explanations that describe what a cost consists of and what it depends on are deliberately not stated as fixed numbers, so a request to replace such a description with a single figure will be declined, because that would create an unsupported claim. Requests to soften a risk warning or remove a regulator caveat are also declined, since those are the parts of the page that protect the reader.
If the figure stands, you get a reply explaining the basis for it, including the contract size, the price reference and the leverage cap used. That reply is the end of the matter on our side, and repeating the same request without new information will not move it. New information does move it: a different calculation, a documented platform behaviour, or a regulator notice that changes the position. Send that and the request is reopened and checked again from the start.
What we will not help with
We cannot help with account problems, fund recovery, a blocked withdrawal or a dispute with a broker. We are not a broker, a bank or a licensed adviser, and we have no access to any account, including one opened through a link on this site.
We also do not give personal advice on whether to trade, how much to risk or which position to take. A question about how margin works on a 0.10-lot gold position can be answered in general terms; a question about what you personally should do cannot.
Questions we can answer and questions that need a licensed adviser
We can answer questions about how the instrument works, how margin and pip values are calculated, how the platforms behave, and what a given cost consists of. For example, at the applicable leverage cap a 0.10-lot gold position needs about $85.50 margin, and we can walk through how that figure is derived from contract size and price. We can also explain what a regulator licence means and how to check the SEC Ghana licensed operators list. These are mechanical, verifiable topics and they are the reason this page exists.
We cannot answer whether you should buy or sell gold, where to place a stop, how much of your GH₵ balance to commit, or whether now is a good time to enter. That is personal trading advice and it requires a licensed adviser who knows your finances, your obligations and your tolerance for loss. Gold at any leverage can move against a position quickly and wipe out margin, so a general answer from a website would be worse than no answer. We will say plainly that the question is out of scope rather than dress a guess up as guidance.
We also cannot confirm what your own account shows, because we do not have access to it. If your question is really about a balance, a rejected order or a withdrawal, the answer sits with the broker, not here. We can explain the general rule that applies, such as how margin is consumed or why an order might be rejected for insufficient margin, but we cannot verify your specific figures. Telling us the general rule you need is the fastest way to get something useful back.
Account access, fund recovery and personal advice belong with the broker or a licensed adviser
We cannot open, unlock or close an account, reset a password, trace a deposit, reverse a transaction or recover funds. Those actions require access to the broker's systems and to your identity records, and a website mailbox has neither. If money sent by MTN Mobile Money has not reached a trading account, the trail runs through the broker's support and the mobile money records, not through here. Send that request to the broker that holds the account, and keep the transaction reference with them rather than with us.
We cannot tell you whether to trade, how much to risk, or what to do with an open position, and we cannot act on a position even if asked. Personal advice requires a licensed adviser who knows your circumstances, and acting on a trade requires your platform credentials, which we never hold. Gold is volatile and leveraged positions can lose more than the margin committed, so a website reply is the wrong instrument for a live decision. Close or manage the position yourself through the platform, or speak to a licensed adviser.
For anything involving a firm's conduct, a dispute over funds or a suspected scam, the route is the regulator rather than a website. FxPro is licensed by the FCA (UK), CySEC and FSCA; confirm any broker on the SEC Ghana licensed operators list before sending money. That check is the practical step that matters most for a reader in Ghana, and it is worth doing before a deposit rather than after a problem. We can explain what a licence covers, but we cannot investigate a firm or intervene in a dispute.
No guest posts, no paid placement
This desk does not accept guest posts, sponsored reviews or paid placement at any price. A broker cannot buy a page, a ranking or a softer sentence, and an offer to pay for coverage is declined without discussion.
The only commercial arrangement on the site is the affiliate link, which is disclosed where it appears and which never changes a rating. If you are a broker and you believe a fact on a page is wrong, send the document that shows it and the page will be re-checked.
How long a reply takes and what changes the timing
Expect a reply within a few working days, counted in Accra time and excluding weekends and public holidays. Gold trades around the clock on weekdays, but that does not mean replies arrive around the clock. Messages that arrive on Friday evening or during a Ghanaian public holiday start their count on the next working day. If your question concerns a live position, do not wait on a reply: manage the position through your broker's platform, because a website answer cannot act on an open trade.
Messages that contain the platform, instrument, timeframe and the exact figures move faster than messages that require a follow-up question. A message saying "my gold trade went wrong" needs at least one round of clarification before anything can be said, and that round costs days. A message naming XAU/USD, the platform, the lot size and the two prices involved can often be answered in one pass. The single biggest factor in response time is therefore how complete the first message is, not the order in which it arrived.
Correction requests are handled on a separate track and are looked at before general questions, because a wrong figure on a live page misleads every reader who lands on it. If you are writing about an error, say so in the subject line and quote the sentence and the figure you believe is wrong. That marking is what moves the message onto the correction track. General questions, however well written, stay in the ordinary queue and are answered in the order the queue allows.
The details that make a question answerable in one reply
A useful message contains four things: what you were doing, on which platform, with what position size, and what you expected to see instead. For gold, the position size should be in lots, with 1 standard lot equal to 100 oz, and any price should be quoted to two decimals because one pip is 0.01. Add the time in Ghana time and the reference price at that moment, around 4275.0 if that is the level in question. Those four elements let a reply be specific instead of a description of possibilities.
Leave out the parts that cannot be acted on: screenshots of account balances, personal identification, mobile money reference numbers and anything that identifies you financially. We do not need them and they should not be sent to a website mailbox. What is needed is the mechanics of the situation, not your account records. If a question genuinely requires account-level detail, that is the signal that it belongs with the broker rather than here, and the message should be redirected rather than sent.
Say what answer you are looking for. A message that ends with a clear question, such as how margin is calculated for a 0.10-lot position or why a pending order did not trigger, can be answered directly. A message that describes a frustrating week without a question forces a guess about what would help. One clear question per message is better than five in one, because each one that needs research slows the reply to all the others in the same message.
What to put in the message for a chart, cost or platform question
Name the instrument, the timeframe and the exact platform in the first line, because that single line decides whether the message can be answered at all. For gold, write XAU/USD rather than "gold", give the timeframe (M15, H1, daily) and say whether you are on MT4, MT5, cTrader or the FxPro app. Add the reference price you saw, around 4275.0 if that is the level on your screen, and the time you saw it in Ghana time. Without the platform and timeframe, a chart question turns into a guess and the reply becomes a general description instead of an answer about your specific setup.
For a cost question, describe the components you are asking about rather than asking for a single number. State the position size in lots, remembering that 1 standard lot of XAU/USD is 100 oz, and say whether you mean the spread at entry, commission, or the swap carried overnight. Costs depend on the account type, the entity serving Ghana and market conditions at the moment of the trade, so a message that names the position size and the cost component gets a precise explanation of what the charge consists of and what it depends on.
For a platform question, say which version you are running and what you were doing when the problem appeared. Include the order ticket type, whether the order was market or pending, and the exact wording of any error message rather than a paraphrase. A pip on gold is 0.01, so if your question involves a price difference, quote both prices to two decimals. Screenshots are useful but the written details matter more, because they let the answer be checked against the platform documentation without waiting for an attachment to be opened.
Trade gold on a platform that fits how you work
FxPro gives Ghanaian traders MT4, MT5, cTrader and the FxPro app on XAU/USD, with funding through MTN Mobile Money. Check the leverage cap that applies to the entity serving this country and treat it as a ceiling, not a target.
